WALKER Does the Triple!

The 2018 FIM Maxxis SuperEnduro World Championship season has just ended with an outstanding finale at the Sparbanken Arena in Lidköping, Sweden. Saturday night’s event saw, for the third time, Jonny WALKER (GB - KTM) proving himself as the fastest rider on the track!

In fact, by also getting the two bonus points for setting the second fastest time, the KTM Factory rider Jonny WALKER won the coveted Super Pole powered by Akrapovic title for the third time, and for the second consecutive year. Cody WEBB (USA - KTM), Colton HAAKER (USA - Husqvarna) and Billy BOLT (UK - Husqvarna), were his big rivals for the crown and they all hoped to dethrone WALKER, but even though the Brit wasn’t able to top the Super Pole in Sweden - it was his teammate Taddy BLAZUSIAK (PL - KTM) who stunned with a 39''939 to snatch his first Super Pole of the season - he still topped the general classification. WALKER therefore became one of the most dominant winners of the Akrapovic Super Pole in SuperEnduro history with 9 points. The all-new 2018 World Champion Cody WEBB finished second with 7 points, ahead of BLAZUSIAK, 5pts. Colton HAAKER, 5pts, and "Rookie of the Year" Billy BOLT, 4pts.

The KTM Factory rider received his prize in Sweden, directly from Alain BLANCHARD (ABC Communication); a cheque worth 1500€ awarded by the famous exhaust company Akrapovic Exhaust.

Certainly, the Super Pole powered by Akrapovic has, for the fifth consecutive year, been highly popular with the riders and especially with the public. The race for “the best lap time" is now an essential part of SuperEnduro’s great show!

Final Classification: 1. Jonny WALKER 9pts; 2. Cody WEBB 7pts; 3. Taddy BLAZUSIAK 5pts; 4. Colton HAAKER 5pts; 5. Billy BOLT 4pts.
