Basic rules
Riders in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship compete in two classes: Prestige (over 18 years old) and Junior (16 to 23 years old). Additionally, a European Cup race is held.
The top 7 riders from the PRESTIGE class training sessions enter the SuperPole race, which consists of two laps – one familiarization and one with timing. Competitors start with 20-second intervals. The top three riders are awarded with additional points (included in the overall classification): 1st place – 3 points, 2nd place – 2 points, 3rd place – 1 point.
The main event consists of 3 finals (main races) of PRESTIGE and JUNIOR classes. Each race lasts 6 min + 1 lap. At the starting gates in each class compete 14 riders lined up in two rows of 7. The starting order in the second final is reversed – this means that the best riders start from the last positions. They are lined up in the second row, so in order to win the second race they have to overtake all rivals. Such an arrangement adds spice to the race – the competition on the track is very fierce and full of numerous plot twists.
