Rider Story
When Ashton was young age of 5, he was introduced to bikes by his dad, Chris, who raced motocross at the time. He got his first trial bike at 7 years old. His older brother Mitch and he kept progressing all the way to a British youth level in trials, achieving many goals. The love for trials faded slightly in 2019 until the point he had enough. His dad got his his first motorcross bike in 2020 (KTM 85). At the age of 14 he competed in the British Extreme Championship going through the ranks each year progressing to a KTM 250 in 2022.
At the end of 2022, he hopped on board with an Italian team, TTR Squadra Corse; he signed a contract to do the SuperEnduro Championship in 2023 and the Hard Enduro World Championship. First year in the Junior class securing second place behind Mitch. This gave him a lot of confidence going into the next season. Also doing the Junior class in Hard Enduro securing fourth place.
The first round in Lievin he went with a clear head and grabbed second place. After that round he knew what he had to work on and put the hammer down. Going through the next six rounds going back and forth on points with Suff Sella. He progressed each round going back home with always some thing to work on. His favourite track of the season was Bulgaria, and the favourite atmosphere was Newcastle in the UK. Racing in front of a home crowd and wrapping the championship up there was a special moment and will never forget that day.
Now it’s time to race with the big boys in Prestige, he’s going to train hard as always and hopefully produce some good results.
