Rider Story
Mitch Brightmore is a British rider whose journey in motorcycle sports began with a strong foundation in Trail riding, where he spent nine years honing his skills and clinched the British Youth Elite Champion title.
In 2020, Brightmore transitioned to Extreme Enduro, where his participation in numerous British Extreme events saw him rapidly progressing through the ranks. His breakthrough came in the 2022 season when he signed with the Spanish Rieju team. Competing in British extreme events, he excelled in the Expert category, finishing first and solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the sport.
With the introduction of the Junior World Cup Championship by the FIM, Brightmore expanded his horizons to the Hard Enduro series. He competed across various countries, including Austria, Serbia, Italy, and Spain, and finished an impressive third overall. Mid-season, he joined the Italian team TTR Squadre Corse, riding the GasGas 300, and brought his younger brother Ashton along.
The year 2023 marked Brightmore’s debut in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. He quickly made a name for himself by dominating the Junior class, winning all three races in the first round and maintaining the red leader plate through subsequent rounds. His stellar performance earned him the title of FIM SuperEnduro World Champion in the Junior class.
During the outdoor season, Brightmore returned to the World Hard Extreme Enduro, where he was crowned Junior World Hard Enduro Champion. Additionally, he triumphed in the Italian Extreme Championship, securing another title for his team.
In the 2024 season, Brightmore stepped up to the Prestige class in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, where he finished a commendable fifth overall. His consistent achievements and adaptability across various disciplines and terrains have established him as a formidable competitor and a prominent figure in the world of Extreme Enduro and SuperEnduro racing.
