The world champion closes the party

In 2023, the promoters of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship have decided to reward, thanks to their partner Airoh, the riders who have mastered the art of getting off to a good start. This season the Airoh Holeshot will reward the driver(s) who cross the first corner in the lead. This reward will be awarded in the queen category: the Prestige but also in the Junior category in order to give extra motivation to the young SuperEnduro class.

Bolt

For the first time this season, the challenge of signing the best start increases by one level. To pass first under the Airoh gate, you have to cross a great series of obstacles in the form of a huge concrete pipe immediately followed by an impressive matrix and directly jump on the entrance to a sandbox. Jonny WALKER (GBR-Beta) who has dominated the exercise since the start of the season was snatched the honors by Cody WEBB (USA-Sherco), the British rider intends to resume his march forward. But that's without counting on a very skilful Billy BOLT (GBR-Husqvarna). The championship leader has extra motivation to lead under the Airoh gantry. If he wins in this first round of the evening, he is crowned world champion for the third time in his career. BOLT is therefore committed to making no mistakes in this first sector and signs the first Holeshot of the evening. He will complete this success with a great race victory, BOLT is the new 2023 SuperEnduro World Champion. In the second final, the grid is reversed. It means the slowest qualifying riders who face the track first. Will HOARE (GBR-GASGAS) celebrates his return to competition with a bang by signing the second best start of the evening in Gliwice. The young Beta rider allowed himself to lead this round ahead of the brand new world champion. HOARE must nevertheless bow and let Billy BOLT slip away to victory. BOLT wins ahead of WALKER and WEBB.

For the last final, the leaders resume their place at the front of the grid. As he did for the first round, Billy BOLT rules everyone and wins again under the Airoh gate. King Billy offers himself the perfect evening with the best SuperPole time, the three victories in the final and he pockets the €300 reward for having signed the last Airoh Holeshot of the 2023 season. Jonny WALKER is a little disappointed with having missed this challenge during the last rounds. But he has promised, he will work even harder on his starts for next season with the firm intention of remaining the master all next season.

Ashton BRIGHTMORE concludes in Junior

It is the youngest of the BRIGHTMORE brothers, Ashton who once again wins the holeshot in the Junior category. The youngest of the family leaves with this distinction, having seen his older brother become world champion in the category 10 points ahead of him. The two brothers are ahead of Milan SCHMUESER (GER-Sherco) who fought with them all season.
