WEBB & GALLAS, New 24MX Leaders!

The stars of SuperEnduro began 2018 with a bang in front of a sold out SachsenArena (6,000 spectators)! At the end of the six races of the evening, the 24MX Leader Plate had changed hands in both Prestige and Junior!

At the end of a memorable night with three crazy and eventful races, Cody WEBB (USA - KTM) dethroned Taddy BLAZUSIAK (PL - KTM) at the top of the Prestige category...
Clearly the man on form in this early part of the season, the 2017 AMA Endurocross Champion confirmed his excellent GP of Poland pace with two new race wins in Germany, as well as the 3 bonus points for winning the Akrapovic Super Pole.
For the time being WEBB is ahead of BLAZUSIAK by 13 points. SuperEnduro rookie Billy BOLT (GB - Husqvarna) still holds third infront of his teammate Colton HAAKER (USA - Husqvarna).

In Juniors, the 24MX Leader Plate has also changed hands. Indeed, Kyle FLANAGAN (RSA - Yamaha) with 3rd, 5th, 3rd could not match the pace of Kevin GALLAS (D - Husqvarna). The local hero showed his rivals who is boss by winning all three races and he now heads the provisional standings, 12 points ahead of the South African.
Diego HERRERA (CL - TM) and Ignacio FERNANDEZ (E - Husqvarna), share 3rd place with 67 points each...

This fourth running of the German GP was exhilarating for the 6,000 spectators in SachsenArena, and also for the two new 24MX Leaders: Cody WEBB and Kevin GALLAS. The pair have made a strong start, but the season is still long and we know that anything can happen in SuperEnduro!
