Yamaha and the GUERREROS Arrive!

It has been almost ten years since SuperEnduro became a discipline in its own right. Over time riders have specialised in the sport, and in the last three years, fewer and fewer EnduroGP riders have gone head to head with the likes of HAAKER, WALKER or BLAZUSIAK... But for 2018, the GUERRERO brothers (E) have announced their full participation in the Championship!

Regulars at the SuperEnduro of Barcelona until 2011, Cristobal and Victor GUERRERO have always had a taste for the discipline and have always enjoyed it. Every winter they train on SuperEnduro tracks to work on their technique for the next EnduroGP season...
With their Yamahas, the popular GUERRERO brothers will be behind the start gate for all five rounds of the season.
Cristobal GUERRERO is known as the first Junior World Enduro Champion in 2005. He is also 2012 Vice-World E2 Champion, after an epic duel with Pierre-Alexandre RENET (F). And of course, he is multiple Spanish Champion. This season, he finished 8th in the very tough EnduroGP category...
His brother Victor is also multiple Spanish Enduro Champion. As well as 3rd in the World Enduro Championship’s Junior class in 2010, and a Top 5 in Enduro 2...

Cristobal GUERRERO: “We already had the idea to join SuperEnduro last year... But that could not be done because of late contracts. We are very much looking forward to coming back to SuperEnduro; it's a fresh and very spectacular discipline! It’s also a nice way to occupy ourselves during the winter break!

The arrival of the GUERRERO brothers proves that SuperEnduro is still of interest among the EnduroGP riders. With their technique and their backgrounds in MX, Cristobal and Victor GUERRERO could well mix it up at the front, and keep things exciting for the spectators. In any case, they will add a lot to a Championship which can already boast some great personalities. And also a nice boost for the SuperEnduro of Malaga on February 17th, where the GUERREROS will compete in front of their home crowd!
