Billy BOLT: Mr. Perfect

In 2024, the promoters of the MotoZ FIM SuperEnduro World Championship have decided to reward, with their partner Airoh, riders who have mastered the art of getting off to a good start. The Airoh Holeshot rewards drivers who take the lead through the first turn. This award is awarded in the premier category: the Prestige but also in the Junior category in order to give additional motivation to the young SuperEnduro class.

In France for the first GP of the season, the Airoh gate is located just after a first stone crossing and just at the exit of a huge chicane made of tree logs. In the first Prestige final, the number 57 and reigning champion Billy BOLT (GBR-Husqvarna) opened the dance ! The Englishman got off to an excellent start, managing to control the enthusiasm of Jonny WALKER (GBR-Beta) and Dominik OLSZOWY (POL-Rieju). Negotiating the two obstacles perfectly, BOLT easily takes the lead under the Airoh gate ! He maintains the advantage and wins this first final of the evening hands down ahead of WALKER and OLSZOWY.

Bolt

The second final of the evening is raced in a reverse grid. So the big names start from the back of the ranking to allow the other riders to stand out. It is the turn of Diogo VIEIRA (POR-GASGAS) to shine at the start. The Portuguese perfectly manages to contain the attempts to overtake a unleashed pack. The Lusitanian managed to complete the first two laps in the lead. At the start of the third loop, VIEIRA sees BOLT and WALKER rushing towards him. He did not resist the attack of the two Britons for long. BOLT and WALKER fly to a new English domination in the second final, Alfredo GOMEZ (ESP-Rieju) is third in this moto.

For the last final, the grid returns to its initial shape. Billy BOLT doesn't give anyone the opportunity to deprive him of a new better start. This time Will HOARE and Jonny WALKER follow his path. This same trio will cross the finish line but in a different order. Behind BOLT winner WALKER manages to pass his compatriot. We know the end of the story, Billy BOLT wins a new Grand Prix, his first of 2024. He is ahead of WALKER and HOARE. For the reigning world champion, it looks like a perfect day winning the Superpole, the Airoh holeshot and all 3 finals.

Junior: Roland LISZKA leads the way

The Hungarian was one of the great entertainers of the evening in the Junior category. During the three finals, he offered an excellent response to Ashton BRIGHTMORE (GBR-GASGAS) and the big winner of the evening Suff SELLA (ISR-KTM). If the Israeli won by winning the 3 finals, the master of the evening regarding the best starts was the young Hungarian on his KTM who passed under the gate as leader on two occasions. He is logically the first winner of the Airoh Holeshot in the Junior category.

The next stage of the MotoZ FIM SuperEnduro World Championship is scheduled for December 9 in Krakow, Poland.
